We do not claim that articles are medically reviewed unless a qualified reviewer has actually reviewed them and agreed to be identified.
Current review process
Health content is editorially checked against authoritative sources such as FDA, NIH/NCCIH and NIAMS, but that process is not a substitute for individual medical advice.
High-risk decisions
Medication interactions, pregnancy/nursing, allergies, persistent symptoms and disease treatment questions should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.
